Evidence: VEGF165 also influenced the interaction of HUVECs with the prototypic ligand for aVb3, vitronectin bFGF did augment cell migration onto vitronectin, almost as effectively as VEGF165. The bFGF-stimulated migration also was inhib- ited by c7E3 (data not shown). Thus, both major angio- genic growth factors enhanced HUVEC migration in an aVb3- dependent fashion.
